How can you represent a bird using just a beak, two legs, and a splash of color?
Workshop for teenagers aged 11 to 14 in the charpak Middle School, 95 – France.
Starting with an A4 sheet divided into several squares, each containing a beak and two legs, students are invited to invent their own bird by playing with shapes.
The goal: to understand that an illustration doesn’t need a lot of detail to be expressive, and that abstraction can also tell a story.
After selecting their favorite creation, the students took over one of the school corridors and brought their birds to life on the walls!
